Hello Army! ♡

Super Curious Tata! |

- needle and scissors
- Blue yarn (denoted as B)
- Yellow yarn (denoted as Y)
- Red yarn (denoted as R)
Finished Tata |
Notations:
Sc: Simple chainss: slip stitch
inc: increase (2 sc in 1 stitch)
dec: decrease (bring two stitch into 1)
--> you can watch youtube videos if you are not aware what a Magic Ring is, how to increase or decrease, and if you do not know how to switch colors in the middle of your work ! It's really simple :)
Head:
You will start by making the heart-shaped head of Tata. Later we will attach the head to the body together by sewing.
For the head, we will make 2 separate half circles, which will later be attached together by crocheting the two pieces. Follow the instructions below.
For the first half circle:
For the first half circle:
Row 1: Magic ring 6 chains (6)
Row 2: inc all (12)
Row 3: sc 1, inc (18)
Row 4: sc 2, inc (24)
Rows 5-6: sc all (24)
Cut the string, but leave the crochet loop open.
At this point, we have completed one of the two half-circles which will be the top of the heart shape. We repeat the rows 1-6 to create another half circle.
As explained:
Row 7: sc the two half-circles together (48)
Row 8: sc6, dec (42)
Row 9: sc all (42)
Row 10: sc 5, dec (36)
Row 11: sc all (36)
Row 12: sc 4, dec (30)
Row 13: sc all (30)
Row 14: sc 3, dec (24)
Row 15: sc all (24)
Row 16: sc 2, dec (18)
Row 17: sc all (18)
Make a slip stitch and cut the string. Stuff the head. This is the end of Tata's head.
Body:
For the body, we will start from the legs. We will use the same technique as the heart head explained above. We will make 2 cylinder shape, and attach them together crocheting.
In blue:
This makes one of the legs. Cut the string but keep the crochet loop.
Repeat Rows 1-5 to make the second leg.
Now that you have both legs, stuff them, and and attach them together by sc all of the chains.
In blue:
Row 1: Magic ring 6 chains (6)
Row 2: sc 1, inc (9)
Rows 3-5: sc all. (9)
This makes one of the legs. Cut the string but keep the crochet loop.
Repeat Rows 1-5 to make the second leg.
Now that you have both legs, stuff them, and and attach them together by sc all of the chains.
Row 6: sc two legs together (18)
Row 7: sc 2, inc (24)
Row 8-11: sc all (24)
Row 12: sc 2, dec (18)
Row 13: sc 1, dec (12)
Stuff the body
Row 14: dec all (6)
The next step is to attach the head with the body. To do so, I sewed the last row of the head ABOVE the last row of the body, in order to make it look like the head is resting over the body.
Row 7: sc 2, inc (24)
Row 8-11: sc all (24)
Row 12: sc 2, dec (18)
Row 13: sc 1, dec (12)
Stuff the body
Row 14: dec all (6)

Arms:
Make two of these:
Row 1: Magic ring 6 chains (6)
Row 1: Magic ring 6 chains (6)
Rows 2-6: sc all. (6)
After making two of these arms, connect them to the body.
Yellow Dots:
You can add as many dots as you wish ! I recommend checking out the original Tata plush from the BT21 merchandise online, to give yourself a guide.
I made my dots by simply magic ring 5sc and connecting the last sc to the first with a slip knot.
I even added some dots to the back :)

Mouth:
For the mouth, I made a chain of 9 sc, and folded it in 2, and attached it to the head.
Add the face details (eyes and lines for mouth) and you are done!
Please let me know if this pattern is clear, and if you would like me to create any other of the BT21 plush!! Stay tuned for MANG's pattern !!!
