Crochet Amigurumi Van BT21 Plush

Hi all Army! ♡

 

Just a while ago, all of the main BT21 merchandise were released, and obviously with the increasing number of Army’s around the world, the merchandise runs out quickly !

What if you really wanted a cute Van plush and you can’t order it? You can now follow my free limited-time Amigurumi pattern, and make yourself a very close-to-reality Van plush :) 

BTS BT21 Van Plush 

What you will need: 

• needle and scissors
• black yarn (denoted as B)
• white yarn (denoted as W)
• grey yarn (denoted as G)

Notations:

Sc: Simple chain
ss: slip stitch
inc: increase (2 sc in 1 stitch)
dec: decrease (bring two stitch into 1)

--> you can watch youtube videos if you are not aware what a Magic Ring is, how to increase or decrease, and if you do not know how to switch colors in the middle of your work ! It's really simple :) 

Legs: 

You will start by making 1 leg in grey, then another in white. Later we will attach them together and build the rest of the plush from it. 

Use the G yarn to make the first leg 

Row 1: Magic ring 6 chains (6)

Magic Ring 6sc

Row 2-4: sc 6 (6)

slip stitch the next sc, and cut the yarn, leaving a long strand. 

Repeat rows 1-4 with the W yarn

Now that you have the two legs, stuff them, and attach them together by sc all of the chains with the appropriate colors:
Row 5: sc two legs together with appropriate colors (12)

Row 6: sc1, inc with appropriate colors (18)

Row 7-9: sc all with appropriate colors         (18)

Row 10: sc 1, dec with appropriate colors (12)

Stuff the body

Row 11: dec all with appropriate colors          (6)

Head

Next we will create the head

Row 12: inc all with appropriate colors (12)

After Row 12 done

Row 13: inc all with appropriate colors         (24)

Row 14: sc3, inc with appropriate colors         (30)

Row 15: sc4, inc with appropriate colors         (36)

Row 16: sc5, inc with appropriate colors         (42)

Row 17-19: sc all with appropriate colors (42)

Row 20: sc5, dec with appropriate colors (36)

Row 21: sc4, dec with appropriate colors (30)

Row 22: sc3, dec with appropriate colors (24)

Row 23: sc2, dec with appropriate colors (18)

Row 24: sc1, dec with appropriate colors (12)

Row 25: sc all with appropriate colors (12)

Stuff the head

Row 26: sc1, dec with appropriate colors (6)

Next, finish the head by a slip stitch and cut the string. 

Arms

For the arms, make one of each colors (B and W) using the following pattern:

Row 1: Magic Ring 6 chains         (6)

Row 2-5: sc all (6)

Stuff the arms

Attach the arms to the body. 

Add the face details (X O) and __ for the mouth…..and voilà!
